⚡ AUDD Direct

AUDD Direct enables fully automated minting and burning of AUDD without any API development. By linking a Distributor’s whitelisted wallet(s) with a designated Virtual Account (VA) and unique payment references, fiat deposits automatically trigger AUDD mints, and on-chain AUDD transfers automatically trigger burns and fiat withdrawals.

This provides a seamless, low-friction pathway between Australian dollars and on-chain AUDD - ideal for Distributors seeking automation without the overhead of engineering work or system integration.

Use of AUDD Direct:

AUDD Direct is intended exclusively for AUDD Distributors minting or burning AUDD for their own operations. It is not currently available for third-party payments, or any customer-facing conversion processes. The mechanism is designed strictly for self-directed treasury, liquidity, or operational token management.

🧰 Setup Requirements

To activate AUDD Direct, reach out to your Account Manager, and provide the following details:

• Wallet address(es) for each blockchain you intend to use
  • This is the wallet that will receive newly minted AUDD
  • It will be whitelisted to allow automatic burning when sending AUDD back to us
• Nominated bank account
  • This is where AUD will be deposited automatically following a burn

Once your details are supplied and verified, we will issue:

• VA details for depositing AUD to initiate a mint
• Unique transaction references
  • These must be included in each payment to ensure AUDD is minted on the correct chain and sent to the correct wallet
• Designated on-chain wallet addresses
  • These are the addresses you will send AUDD to when initiating a burn

🪙 Minting AUDD

To mint AUDD using AUDD Direct, simply send AUD to the VA details provided to you and ensure the correct transaction reference is included so our system can identify the appropriate chain and destination wallet. For example:

Once the payment is received by our banking provider, the AUDD will be automatically minted to your designated wallet/chain based on the reference provided.

Reference Troubleshooting:

If the reference is missing or incorrect, the funds will credit to your VA, and the AUDD will not be minted; in such cases, you can log into the portal and manually complete the mint. For further information, visit our guide on Minting AUDD via the AUDD Mint Portal.

🔥 Burning AUDD

To burn AUDD using AUDD Direct, send your AUDD on the relevant chain from your whitelisted wallet to the designated burn wallet provided to you. Once the burn is confirmed on-chain, the corresponding AUD will be automatically transferred to your nominated bank account.

⌛ Processing and Settlement Expectations

Minting: AUDD is minted once our banking provider receives your AUD deposit. In most cases, payments settle within a few minutes; however, depending on the originating financial institution, settlement may take up to two business days. Blockchain Processing: Minting and burning times vary by blockchain network. During periods of elevated network activity or congestion, processing times may extend beyond typical confirmation periods.

Fiat Settlement After Burn: Following confirmation that AUDD has been successfully burned, AUD is transferred to your nominated bank account. NPP-enabled accounts generally receive funds within minutes, while non-NPP accounts should allow one to two business days for settlement.

Compliance Monitoring: All transactions processed through AUDD Direct remain subject to standard transaction monitoring controls. For further information on monitoring processes and operational expectations, consult the Transaction Monitoring Guide.

💵 Fees and Charges
